2013/5773 (Triennial III) — Connecting with God in Different Ways

Many Jewish communities, including most synagogues, focus on bringing people closer to their Judaism in various different ways, including through learning (Torah) and prayer (Avodah). Yet in the hectic times we live in, are we stretching ourselves too thin as institutions and as individuals? Should we focus on specific areas of interest or continue a more generalized approach? Perhaps this week’s Parashah can give us some insight into this question.
